Bunchi Bags Project at PSI
The Bunchi Bag community enterprise in South Africa has recently trusted Project Services International to market a new line of reusable shopping bags in Canada. PSI is helping to sell these bags as economically as possible in the hope that selling them in Canada will allow Bunchi Bags to expand and employ more women in South Africa at a fair, living wage. All profits will be returned to the Bunchi Bag community project, which demonstrates the huge potential for creativity around developing sustainable alternatives to disposable bags, and in persuading others to change their behaviour.
